What We Do

Our mission: to find a cure for endometriosis

We are a team of highly motivated interdisciplinary scientists working towards a common scientific goal: to uncover the mechanisms at play in women's health and disease and harness them to create better treatment options for women.

We operate at the human tissue level in the data we collect and the models we build, revolutionising the way that therapeutic discovery is performed. By harnessing the power of menstrual fluid, we are:

Better stratifying women's health conditions and developing novel health insights.
Building first of a kind physiological assays of the tissue niche to better mimic human disease.
Getting to the targets that really drive disease to develop the treatments that women need.

Meet the Founders

CEO and Co-Founder

Dr. Léa Wenger

With a background in Veterinary Medicine and a PhD in Neuroscience from Cambridge University, Léa brings years of therapeutic research experience in both academia and industry to tackle the challenges faced in Endometriosis research.

CSO and Co-Founder

Prof. Kevin Chalut

A physicist by training, Kevin was a professor at Cambridge University working on stem cell biomechanics and tissue regeneration. He then moved into biotech and lead a team focussed on therapeutic targeting of the extracellular matrix, before diving into endometriosis and women's health at Cycle Tx.
